Go from boards to harvest with UMaine Extension garden series
University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s five-session class on raised-bed and container gardening starts 9–11 a.m. May 10 at the UMaine Extension Somerset County office in Skowhegan.
Extension staff and Master Gardener volunteers will lead the hands-on series; remaining sessions will be held June 14, July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 13, at the same time and location. Participants will help build raised-bed, square-foot containers, then plant, maintain and harvest vegetables from them.
