WGME cites Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center study
Research by the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Maine was cited in a WGME story about five drug overdoses, one of which was fatal, in a four-span Tuesday, Dec. 27 in Presque Isle. WGME reported that a county-by-county analysis through 2014 by the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center indicated Aroostook County had the lowest rate of drug-related deaths per capita of any county Maine.
