BDN publishes op-ed by Butler
The Bangor Daily News published the opinion piece “Maine’s welfare policies have taken a turn, with dire consequences for kids,” by Sandra Butler, a professor of social work at the University of Maine; and Luisa Deprez, a professor emerita of sociology and women and gender studies at the University of Southern Maine. The article was adapted from a research brief they wrote for the Scholars Strategy Network.
