Media report on new funding for potato research
WABI (Channel 5), The Washington Times, The Daily Journal, Berkshire Eagle and WGME (Channel 13) reported the University of Maine has been awarded almost $12,000 from the USDA to further research the state’s potato industry. The funding will help enhance critical food research of Maine’s agricultural sector, according to the report.
