Localize international dishes with UMaine Extension

Using local foods in international cuisine is the focus of a hands-on workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 20, at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Cumberland County office, 75 Clearwater Drive, Falmouth.

Participants can sample several recipes, including Maine lobster dumplings and crab wontons, and take home a selection of items. Extension volunteer Sheri Fistal will lead the class, which is part of the “From Scratch: Your Maine Kitchen” series.
