UMaine Ties to Orono Noted in BDN Story
A Bangor Daily News report about the Town of Orono’s inability to gain a grant to spruce up its downtown noted the close ties between UMaine and Orono. Although the town was not awarded the grant, several businesses are pledging to proceed with facade improvements, which the grant application noted might draw UMaine students downtown.
