UMaine floating offshore wind research featured in PBS NOVA
A recent episode of PBS NOVA featured floating offshore wind research being conducted at the University of Maine Advanced Structures and Composites Center. “Within 50 miles of the U.S. coast — both east and west coast — there’s enough offshore wind capacity, theoretically, to power the country four times over,” said Habib Dagher, founding executive director of the center.
