BDN reports on McNamara’s project to improve students’ health behaviors

The Bangor Daily News shared a University of Maine news release highlighting a community-based participatory research (CBPR) project led by Jade McNamara, an assistant professor of human nutrition at UMaine. The project, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture, will involve creating a course to teach students at UMaine and the University of Kentucky about CBPR and task them with creating a health improvement program tailored to their campuses and their peers.
