Extension home landscape design course begins Oct. 24
A six-session home landscape design course offered by University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Somerset County begins 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 24 at the UMaine Extension office, 7 County Drive, Skowhegan.
The rain date is Oct. 31. The five remaining classes are scheduled for 6–8 p.m. Nov. 3 and 17, Jan. 12 and 26, and Feb. 9. Extension staff and Master Gardener Program volunteers will lead the course. Topics include garden designs and features, plant choices and nutrition, hardscapes and soil improvement. Participants design their own garden landscape.
