Dill interviewed by WAGM on forest tent caterpillars
WAGM (Channel 8 in Presque Isle) interviewed Jim Dill, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension associate program administrator in pest management, on the abundance of forest tent caterpillars in Aroostook County this summer. Dill said the caterpillars can defoliate and kill trees over a span of several years and cause roads to get slick if many are run over by vehicles.
