Watch French-language film, meet award-winning director Feb. 29
To celebrate Francophonie Month, Franco American Programs at the University of Maine teamed with the Quebec Delegation of Boston for a film screening featuring a documentary about the French in Quebec and a discussion with the director of the film.
“Une histoire sur le goût de la langue,” or “A history about the taste of language,” will be screened at 4 p.m. Feb. 29 at the Franco American Centre. A discussion in English with the director of the movie, award-winning filmmaker Hélène Choquette, and a light supper will follow the film.
