Welcome to the 2nd annual Newman Fishing Derby!! The rules for the derby are going to be:
-Teams will be 2-3 people
-Teams are allowed to fish any time between the hours of 11 and 4.
-Fish score sheet will be posted below for teams to see which fish are worth the most points
-Teams can choose which body of water they would like to fish that is within a 25-mile radius of Newman. (Map will be posted later)
-If a team would like to use a boat then they may rent one from Maine bound or use their own.
-All fish must have a picture. No picture then no points!
-Honor system is in effect for fish that deduct points

-Teams will be assigned the day before so we can match up experienced fishers with non experienced. So please fill out the poll at the bottom.
-If you need to borrow gear (first come first serve) or would like suggestions of where to go please DM me.

-General Maine rules: Bait is only allowed to be used in the Lake and pond. No streams or rivers
-If you fish the river behind the Boom House. You will receive a ticket if you are too close to the dam. You may not go past the red rock.
