Room Reservation Information
Memorial Union:
The required forms generally ask about event details, planning, requirements, etc. This form can be used to reserve tabling spots or rooms.
Fogler Library
Certain rooms in Fogler can be reserved for group or study activities. Room reservations should be made at the circulation desk (a Mainecard is necessary). Contact 207-581-1666 or visit Fogler for more information.
Classrooms:
Classrooms on campus can be reserved for group or individual use. Availability of specific rooms depends on class and department scheduling as academic and course activities take priority for reservations.
Wells Conference Center
Large conference rooms are available, but reservations must be paid for. Contact Events and Hospitality at 207-581-4093 for more information.
General Rules for Room Use:
Should a previously reserved room become unavailable for any reason, the University will reach out to the person listed as the primary contact on the reservation form. In the case of an infraction of University rules or regulations in the course of utilizing a reservation, the first will result in a warning letter and the second will result in individual or group reservation privileges being revoked.
Reasons an individual or group may have a reservation revoked:
- Damage to the room or facilities. In this case, either the group or main contact on the reservation will be responsible for paying for the damage.
- Unauthorized consumption or use of alcohol, marijuana, vaping devices, or other drugs.
- Violations of University regulations and rules which can be found in the Student Handbook.
