Adam Daigneault, E.L. Giddings Assistant Professor of Forest, Conservation and Recreation Policy and Mitchell Center faculty fellow, is quoted in a recent Bangor Daily News story on ways that forest management and carbon offsets can be used in the fight against climate change.

Adam leads UMaine’s Natural Climate Solutions initiative and serves as a member of the Maine Climate Council’s Scientific and Technical Subcommittee. Natural climate solutions are described as conservation, restoration and improved land management actions that increase carbon storage or avoid greenhouse gas emissions.
