American Association of State and Local History recognizes Chebacco

The American Association of State and Local History has given the 2018 issue of Chebacco, the magazine of the Mount Desert Island Historical Society, its prestigious Award of Excellence for 2019. Many members of the University of Maine community contributed to this publication. The magazine’s three editors, copy editor, ten members of the editorial review board, and six of its authors are University of Maine graduate students, alumni, or faculty.
