Bio: Shihfen Tu is associate professor of education and applied quantitative methods with the School of Learning and Teaching, part of the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development. In addition, she is the project manager for ChildLINK, a partnership between University of Maine and the Maine Centers for Disease Control aimed at helping families raise healthy children through early childhood screening and follow-up. Dr. Tu’s research interests include developmental epidemiology, biobehavioral and educational informatics, instrument development, agenesis of the corpus callosum, and reasoning and decision-making. She was a member of the inaugural cohort of Blue Sky Faculty Fellows at UMaine from 2013-2015. In 2018, she was honored with the College of Education and Human Development’s faculty service award.
