Description

I am interested in conservation of fisheries discards, including bycatch reduction and reducing discard mortality. I am currently evaluating cusk bycatch in the Maine lobster fishery to understand where the bycatch is likely to occur, what the level of bycatch is thought to be, and how to reduce mortality of cusk once caught in the fishery.
