The Sandy River is a beautiful cold-water system in Maine that cam trout and Atlantic salmon. It’s one thing to know that they might be there, but another to see them. It’s hard to describe witnessing an endangered Atlantic salmon swimming freely in a wild Maine river as anything but incredible.
