Staff Spotlight: Beth Jackson

Staff Spotlight: Beth Jackson, Maine Bound’s Coordinator, loves adventuring. After 15 years of traveling, car living, and working as a wilderness instructor Beth landed in Orono, Maine at the Maine Bound Adventure Center. Beth studied Studio Art and Outdoor Education at Earlham College. She loves training Maine Bound Staff and is excited for Maine Bound to offer more paddling programs.

Beth loves long challenging wilderness expeditions in hard to get to places. As an instructor for the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School, Beth has led expeditions in Maine, Florida, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Panama, and Brazil. She enjoys drinking tea, baking, and slalom racing. In her free time, Beth spends her days exploring, playing on the water, and planning her next big adventure.
