Staff Spotlight: Sage Allen
Meet Sage Allen, our Challenge Course Manager! Sage is currently double majoring in Outdoor Leadership and Marine Science. She has been working at Maine Bound for a year now. Sage found Maine Bound when looking for schools with a climbing gym nearby. Her freshman year she joined the climbing club and was in Maine Bound on the first day of the semester! Here she found what she loves most about Maine Bound: the close-knit climbing community and the opportunities for growth that the space allows.
Outside of Maine Bound, Sage enjoys her free time playing with her cat, rock climbing, and any other outdoor activity. “I constantly like to try new things and push my comfort zone. I love the adrenaline rush, and feeling connected to nature.” After school, Sage plans on traveling as much as she can while working, but eventually, she would like to go into eco-tourism showing people awesome places while also educating them on pressing issues like climate change.
