Maine Parent Guide to Autism Spectrum Disorders
This parent-friendly guide was developed with the help of a dedicated group of MAIER Family Partnership parents to assist other families as they navigate the autism journey. In four booklets, the Parent Guide leads families from the initial question of “Does my child have autism?” to steps for obtaining needed assessments, connecting with educational and social services, and finding resources based on their needs. Adaptive Sports and Recreational Opportunities in Maine
Maintaining a physically active lifestyle is an important aspect of healthy living for all of us. Currently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend one hour of physical activity each day. The State of Maine is a vast recreational region filled with opportunities to be physically active and here in Maine we are fortunate to have numerous organizations offering adaptive services to those requiring accommodation so that everyone can be healthy and fit.
