Free Autism Safety Training in Brewer!

Thursday October 13th from 6pm to 8:30 pm, the Brewer School Department, in partnership with the Brewer Police Department, will be offering a free safety training for those interested in learning to better understand the challenges of interacting with persons with ASD and to ensure safe outcomes in emergency situations.

Matt Brown, Law Enforcement veteran and parent of a child with ASD, and co-founder of Autism Safety Education and Training (ASET), will provide important information related to preventing, recognizing, and responding to safety situations involving persons with ASD.

Location: BCS Performing Arts Center, 92 Pendleton St. Brewer, Maine

This event is free to parents, community members, and members of Brewer School Department and Police Department, but space is limited so you must register to attend.
