December 6th “My Day to Play” for families!
Join us Sunday December 6th, 4:30-6pm at the Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor!
MAIER’s Maine Family Partnership will be hosting a “My Day to Play” event in partnership with the Maine Discovery Museum on December 6th from 4:30 to 6pm. The Museum is located at 74 Main Street, Bangor.
This free event for children with autism and their siblings is held during a time when the Museum is closed to other visitors, offering a safe, sensitive environment for exploration and play. Special activities and events are planned, and Santa will be here to visit with your children and have a free digital photo taken, if you wish.
MAIER will also be introducing their newly released “Maine Parent Guide to Autism Spectrum Disorders” developed especially for Maine families, and staff will be on hand to tell you about the exciting work going on at the Maine Autism Institute.
Join us for this free opportunity to play, meet Santa, and enjoy time and refreshments with other families!
