Parent Survey – Autism & Hearing Sensitivities
The following link is a survey concerning children with autism and hearing sensitivities. This research is being conducted by Kayla Cormier, a Communication Sciences and Disorders undergraduate student at the University of Maine. This studying is looking for parents of children ages 5-17 who have autism and hearing sensitivities or hyperacusis. Hyperacusis occurs when a person’s hearing threshold, is overly sensitive to sounds. This survey is intended to gather information concerning the unmet needs of youth with hearing sensitivities or hyperacusis. This is an anonymous survey that will take about 20 minutes.
