Join us for a look at one of the top nocturnal predators. Learn how owls navigate the dark and sneak-up on their prey, and discover whooo is making that sound in the dark. We will then take a look at what is an owl pellet and why owls make them. Then as the sun sets we will go out on the trail for a look at the night life and search for our feathered friends!

Event information:
This event will begin indoors but will transition to a hike outdoors in the dark. While flashlights are welcome if they have a red fabric or plastic covering we will be aiming to experience the hike using our night vision to least impact the wildlife we will be seeking to find. Layers, good hiking shoes, a water bottle, and bugspray are all encouraged
