Join us at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center January 28-30. We will kick off this year’s Town Meeting with a welcome banquet on the night of January 28, followed by a day and a half of panel discussions addressing issues impacting the lobster industry on January 29-30. This year’s panels will discuss the U.S. gauge increase, stock assessments, changes to the ecosystem, market conditions, and other critical topics impacting the industry.

Town Meeting is a unique opportunity for cross-border dialog among fishermen, managers, and researchers. New this year is the addition of banquet dinners to allow attendees additional time to continue conversations following our sessions and socialize. The first will be the night of January 28, following on-site check-in and registration.

Registration is open exclusively to commercial harvesters until October 20, after which it will open to the public. Thanks to the Sonneberg Fund, we once again can offer a limited number of free registrations for commercial fishermen.

Your $75 registration fee includes meals on January 29 and 30. Banquet dinners are an additional fee of $50 per dinner/person. Room rates of $135/night (a limited number of family suites are available for $209/night) include parking and access to all hotel amenities.

For more detailed information about Town Meeting, sponsorship opportunities, and exhibitor space, please contact Chris Cash directly at Christina.cash@maine.edu or call 207-975-0003.

* We will once again offer exhibition space to our top sponsors. We only have space for 20 exhibition tables, so please let us know your desired level of support as soon as possible to secure your table and be included in preliminary event advertising. The exhibit space will share the same main meeting room as the panel presentations for optimal interactions throughout the two-day event.
