Judaic Studies Mourns the loss of Howard Segal
In addition to his award-winning teaching and scholarship, Professor Segal was a valued and longtime advisor to the Judaic Studies program.
The hearts and minds of the entire UMaine community are with his wife, professor of English Deborah Rogers, his children Richard and Raechel, and other family members.
A celebration of Segal’s life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Congregation Beth El, 183 French St., Bangor, or to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation; crohnscolitisfoundation.org/site/donation.
