Mireille Le Gal, International Student and Scholar Advisor at OIP, led a group of international students to visit a local sugar house on Maine Maple Sunday in Clifton, ME. Trips, such as this one, are always a great learning experience for students and a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and connect with one another.

Not only did students learn about the process of making maple syrup, they got to taste a variety of maple products and enjoyed them so much that the group left with their arms full of delicious treats to enjoy.

Mireille particularly enjoyed the opportunity to interact with students in a social setting and the distraction from OPT applications and tax returns!!
