Announcement: Offering Little to No Cost Intern Assistance for Companies through DECD
Innovate for Maine is receiving funding through the
Maine Department of Economic and Community Development to support the long-term growth of the many Maine startups and small businesses. Participating companies may be eligible for a subsidy for student assistance if they meet the following qualifications:
- Innovative, for-profit, Maine company that offers meaningful projects and mentorship
- Company with <50 employees qualify to work with us at no cost
- Companies with >50 employees qualify to work with us at half the cost
If your company doesn’t qualify for
no-cost assistance, Innovate for Maine fees are as follows. Non-profits can qualify to work with us if they have an intern project involving a Maine small business or startup, but they are not eligible for our subsidies.
- Summer Full-Time (up to 400 hours), $9000
- Summer Part-Time (up to 200 hours), $5,400
- Summer Project-Based (up to 100 hours), $2,700
