Course Description: Examines the changing experiences of American women from colonial times to the present. Emphasis on what women did and what they were told to do, the experiences of different groups of women, and the ways in which women worked to change their situation.
General Education Requirements: This satisfies the Cultural Diversity & International Perspectives and the Western Cultural Tradition Requirements.
Prerequisites: Three credits in history or instructor permission.
