Role in Graduate Student Government: Treasurer
Reason behind joining the GSG as an officer: I wanted to serve in the UMGSG both as a service and because I have been a longstanding member of the campus community and wish to serve better.
As an officer in the GSG, how would you like to contribute in such a way that you improve the situation for graduate students?: I’d like to make things as simple and organized as possible in governance and keep a steady hand on the wheel of governance to focus principally on the wellbeing of the students.
Long Term Career Goals: I wish to become a political analyst, think tank worker, and intelligence officer. Later in life, I would like to join Academia and teach.
Involvement in clubs and other organizations: I have been Senator of UMSG, Political Activities Chair & Orono Town Council Liason President, Vice President, World Master, Assistant Worldmaster, & DM Senator for UMaine Dungeons and Dragons Club. I served as a member of the CANS board, Secretary to the UMCRs Assistant Comms Director, and Chancellor to the UMYAL branch North East Regional Director for SFL.
Hobbies: I enjoy playing strategy, and board games, History & Genealogy, Tabletop games such as D&D, Hiking, Search and Rescue, and Charity work, and I’m an avid reader and podcast listener.
