Why did you choose to become a GSG senator?: I’m excited about representing GSBSE and UMaine students on GSG, and about being involved in important decisions that affect myself and my constituents.
How would you best serve your constituents?: Discuss issues relevant to my constituents, attend all meetings possible to secure grant funding for my department, and advocate for the needs of my fellow grad students.
Please tell us about your research or some fun facts about you.: I do research on virology, specifically on how JC polyomavirus infects cells.
How do you plan on communicating with your constituents?: By email and, when necessary, at monthly GSBSE meetings over Zoom.
