Food Technology

The Food Technology graduate certificate offered through the School of Food and Agriculture is 100% online and is a 12-credit program. The graduate certificate would benefit professionals working in the food industry.

Educational objectives

  1. Critically assess current research and apply principles of food science in the preservation, processing, packaging, and distribution of safe food.
  2. Strengthen competencies in the field of Food Technology.

Students who are currently enrolled in a master’s degree program through the Graduate School and who wish to pursue an approved graduate certificate program simultaneously must apply for admission to the certificate program before one-half of the required credits are completed.
