UMaine NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Workshop
The Graduate School and Office of Research Development is offering an overview workshop on the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) to be held in 57 Stodder Hall on September 6, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. The workshop is intended for prospective student applicants, faculty advisors, and departmental administrators. Presenters will give an overview of the NSF GRFP funding competition, the UMaine application process, and share grant writing strategies. Light refreshments will be served.
NSF GFRP Eligibility: The eligibility criteria are very specific for NSF GRFP. One of the major factors is the window of opportunity in which students can apply. Students may apply as an undergraduate senior as well as during a post-baccalaureate period prior to beginning their graduate training. Students may also apply once as a graduate student within their first two years of graduate school enrollment (and prior to 12 graduate credits accumulated).
