Professional Interests: bovine reproductive physiology, ovarian physiology, embryo transfer, in vitro embryo production and fixed time artificial insemination.
Research: The research program in Dr. Motta’s lab primarily focuses on exploring ovarian physiology and its regulation using bovine as the primary model. The overarching goal is to develop and enhance strategies to improve embryo production and fixed-time artificial insemination in cattle.
