Portland Food Map launched in 2007 as a directory of the local food community. Other features have been added over the years including an event calendar, a list of Sunday brunch options, the under construction page, takeout list, and most recently the My Kitchen Their Table chef interview column.
Many restaurants are not open on Mondays. You can find a list of restaurants open on Monday here.

Maine is known as Vacationland because there is so much to explore and enjoy from our breathtaking stretches of coastline and quaint towns to our rugged mountains and beautiful farm lands. Come relax on our beaches or climb to the top of Mount Katahdin. We are sure that you will be able to find something to do for the whole family.
As the largest city in Maine, Portland has award winning restaurants, unique shopping experiences and a vibrant art scene. Tour historic homes, stroll through the old port or go whale watching in Casco Bay. Don’t forget to try our seafood before you leave.
