The application cycle for the 2018 ME EPSCoR High School Research Internship is now open!

Students are invited to apply to take part in an exciting, paid research internship opportunity to gain real-world experience. Accepted applicants will work with UMaine faculty, students, and others to learn about sustainable science and aquaculture. The internship includes an orientation on the UMaine campus, participation in science research, an exploration of career options, and the opportunity to be paid while having fun!
To apply, students must complete an application, provide a copy of their high school transcript, and include a letter of recommendation.
NOTE: This program is open to ALL Maine high school students. High school applicants must be 16 or older by 6/1/18. Students must have daily transportation to the University of Maine at Orono and must complete a final presentation in August. Priority will be given to students completing their Junior year.
