Bio: Matthew Cyr teaches EDT 400: Integrating Technology for Teaching and Learning at the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development. He is currently superintendent and principal at Veazie Community School. His career in education began teaching middle school math and science, then shifted to focus on technology integration. After eight years in the classroom, he transitioned to educational leadership. Cyr was an assistant principal and technology coordinator for 10 years in Old Town before joining Veazie Schools. He is a member of the Maine Principals Association, the Maine School Superintendents Association Technology Advisory Board, and the Penobscot Regional Education Partnership Curriculum Committee.
