Bio: Kristen M. Shaw is an adjunct instructor and student teacher supervisor with the School of Learning and Teaching at the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development. She has been a public school teacher for more than 10 years, and is currently a grade 8 team leader at Brewer Community School in Brewer, Maine. Shaw has dedicated her own growth and learning in the areas of curriculum development, instructional planning, assessment alignment and differentiated learning experiences both in and out of the public school setting.
