The College of Education and Human Development at UMaine will host its first ever pinning ceremony to recognize preservice teachers who are advancing to teacher candidacy and entering their student teaching placements. The event will also honor members of Kappa Delta Pi, the education honor society, as well as other academic and professional achievements of students.
Teacher candidates from the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development, as well as other area teacher preparation programs, will meet with Maine schools and school districts.
