Krystle Merry: Creating Accessible Educational Materials
Starting in the 2026-27 school year, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act will require educators and schools to create accessible educational materials and communications for individuals with disabilities. This session will cover what these requirements mean, as well as some of the tools you can use to make sure you’re complying with them.

Krystle Merry is a lecturer in special education. Prior to working in higher education, she obtained her National Board Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist and worked in for 11 years in secondary and middle-level general and special education mathematics classrooms.
