Began Conservation Science NRT Program Fall 2019

The NRT seemed like a wonderful opportunity to expand my skill set to include social science research tools. I have always wanted to be able to incorporate human beings in wildlife/conservation planning. This team seemed like a great idea and I was excited to join.

I graduated from Texas A&M in 2016 where I earned degrees in Ecological Restoration and Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. I completed her masters in 2020 at the University of Kentucky where she studied the diet of river otters in New Mexico. I am interested in understanding the risk perceptions regarding climate change and other conservation issues. I am dedicated to wildlife conservation and passionate about empowering minority participation in conservation and management.
