Danielle Burr
Danielle Burr is the Head of Public Affairs for McKinsey & Company. She previously served as Head of Federal Affairs for Uber.
She is one of a few veterans of Capitol Hill who has worked in both Senate and House leadership. Danielle served as the Director of External Affairs for House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, where she was tasked with facilitating effective relationships between key stakeholders, industry leaders and GOP leadership.
In the United States Senate, Danielle worked in the Office of Republican Whip Senator Jon Kyl. There she helped Senate leadership develop legislative strategy and served as a liaison to the advocacy community to help build support for legislative priorities. She also advised Senators and staff on Senate floor procedures and Conference rules.
Danielle has also worked in the private sector, most recently as a Partner at Peck Madigan Jones, as well as Navigators Global as a Principal. In both capacities she provided strategic counsel for trade associations, non profits, and Fortune 500 companies.
Earlier in her career, she served as senior director of legislative affairs for the Associated Builders & Contractors, managing legislative strategy and overseeing a lobbying team for the largest trade association representing the merit shop construction industry. She was also a co-founder and chair of the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace, a coalition comprised of more than 500 organizations joined by their mutual concern over federal actions, which threaten entrepreneurs, employers, employees and economic growth.
Danielle lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and twin daughters.
