Using Zoom in Your Classroom – Virtual Training

Zoom is a web conferencing software available to the entire University of Maine community. Faculty can use Zoom in their teaching to manage the synchronous components of their online courses, hold virtual office hours, and promote virtual student collaboration. This workshop will support users interested in using Zoom in their teaching. An Introduction to Kaltura and Using Video in Teaching

This training will offer an overview of the features of UMaine’s video storage and streaming platform: Kaltura. We will discuss creative ways to use video in your teaching and share ideas about using video to improve student learning, such as using video feedback for students, working with video content, making and using video quizzes and using the built-in desktop recorder: Kaltura Capture.
