Oct. 1: Public Artist Talk by Amanda Lilleston
Please join the Department of Art for a public artist talk on Wednesday, October 1 @ 5:30pm. Maine artist and Colby professor Amanda Lilleston will deliver a presentation titled Print & Transformation. The talk will take place in Lord Hall 100.

Lilleston’s work depicts a long and evolving relationship with human anatomy, physiology and ecology. Using drawing, carving, and printing, Lilleston transforms imagery of the body into adapting forms and structures. She received her MFA from University of Michigan and a BA in biology from Colorado College. She shows her prints nationally and internationally: recently at the 2025 Atlanta Print Biennial, and upcoming at the DI CARTA / PAPERMADE 6th edition: International Contemporary Art Biennale in Schio, Italy, and the 4th International Triennial of Graphic Arts Livno, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She currently teaches printmaking at Colby College.
