Annual Juried Student Exhibition Opens April 7
Lord Hall Gallery is proud to host the Department of Art’s 2025 Student Exhibition. This show highlights diverse artwork made by students at UMaine who have taken undergraduate courses in foundational studies and media-specific coursework in Painting, Ceramics, Drawing, Printmaking, Digital Art, Graphic Design, Photography, and Sculpture.
Students who were enrolled in a department course in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 had the opportunity to submit up to six pieces for consideration in the juried exhibition. This year’s juror is Amy Tingle, an artist and Programs Manager at Waterfall Arts in Belfast, Maine.
The exhibition runs from April 7 through May 2. A public opening reception and awards ceremony will be held on Friday April 11, from 5:00-7:00pm. This event is free and open to the public; all are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
Lord Hall Gallery is free, accessible, and open to the public Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm.
