Exhibition: Ji zoongde’eyaang: Ida Baptiste & Lara Kramer
Lord Hall Gallery will host a two-person exhibition featuring Anishinaabe Oji-Cree mother/daughter artists Lara Kramer and Ida Baptiste. The show is entitled Ji zoongde’eyaang meaning “to have a strong heart” in Anishnaabemowin. The exhibition will be on view to the public at Lord Hall Gallery from August 26-October 15, 2024. The artists will visit campus in early October; accompanying programming will including a public lecture, a live performance, a reception, class visits, and one-on-one meetings with students.
