We hold an annual conference related to lifelong communities. One is held in Hallowell, the other is held at the Wells Conference Center at the UMaine campus. This year’s conference is scheduled for June 03 and will be in Hallowell.
We hold a yearly symposium that allows students from a diverse range of fields to display their research to the public. Members of the public are welcome to sign up to judge presentations.
County clubs typically meet for county-wide meetings 1-2 times a year, and the State Extension Homemakers Council holds two state-wide conference per year, one in Spring and one in Fall.
We offer educational workshops, classes, and events on topics of the Maine Food System, Positive Youth Development, and Community and Economic Development. Some workshops offer certifications.
