Susan Collins at the Collins Center for the Arts. Collins’ address was titled “Incivility and Hyperpartisanship: Is Washington a Symptom or the Cause?” She urged her congressional colleagues to restore civility by putting “progress over partisanship, statesmanship over stridency and compromise over conflict,” the AP reported.
