Gendron Quoted in Press Herald Article on Maine Startup and Create Week
Red Gendron, head men’s ice hockey coach for the University of Maine, was quoted in a Portland Press Herald article about Maine Startup and Create Week. More than 40 events featuring 158 speakers from around the country took place at 15 venues across Portland to celebrate entrepreneurs and startups. Gendron, who attended the week’s “Think Big” kickoff party at Port City Music Hall, said, “For me, thinking big is a national championship for the state of Maine.”
